The Tarot is a tool that communicates through images, themes, and archetypes. When combined with openness and intuition, this supportive system can profoundly shift how we relate to our inner and outer worlds.

what to expect
The Tarot works with our subconscious to reveal perspectives and patterns that are unclear to our conscious minds. For me, the cards are a tool that can reflect the present and guide us to a thriving future.
As a reader I work organically, using short spreads tailored for insights, and drawing cards throughout our conversation as needed for clarity and guidance.
The cards can be so helpful in navigating difficulties and blockages if we approach them with an open, curious, and intuitive mind. A reading with no real agenda at the outset can also be meaningful and revelatory, with a surprise destination.
I offer individual lessons and group workshops for those who want to establish or deepen a relational practice with the Tarot.

Hi, I’m Julie Kelton Yost
I’ve been working with the cards on and off since I received my first deck 25+ years ago. For me, the cards are always supportive, guiding us to tend to ourselves and our world with creativity and care. They continue to reveal themselves to me in new ways all the time.
In addition to my work as a reader, I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Social Work (MSW) with a focus on trauma-informed care and human rights from the University at Buffalo (class of 2026).
If you don’t yet have one, I hope working with me empowers you to build your own, lifelong relationship to these funny, wise, potent cards.
