Just like the Major Arcana, we will begin at zero. To plant the seed of a thriving tarot practice we need to know our soil. In the Fool, we will explore our relationship to the tarot, including any previous held perceptions, fears, myths, and hopes about the cards. We will meet the cards by element and archetype and explore different ways into building a sustainable, creative, and supportive tarot practice.

Your relationship to the tarot is what you make of it! In our second class, we will continue our study of tarot basics and begin to witness ourselves through the archetypes of the cards, beginning with the court cards. We will play with seeing each card as a stage of individual/personal development and practice asking potent questions and conversing with the deck.

The deck unlocks when we listen. In this class, we will deepen our intuitive practice with the cards by paying quiet attention to our emotional and somatic cues. The High Priestess troubles binaries and reminds us of all that is hidden and repressed in patriarchal systems. The tarot helps us to do the same. We will begin to deepen our understanding of our own perspective about tarot mechanics and play with synchronicity.
