If you’re drawn to work with the cards and cosmos, there are many good places to start online or through your local library. I’m listing some of my favorite writers, thinkers, and teachers of the tarot and related modalities as a starting point. This list is evolving and incomplete.
My astrological practice is mostly informed by humanistic and psychological astrologers, in the lineage of Dane Rudyhar, Karen Hamaker-Zondag, Liz Greene, Harold Sasaportas, Melanie Reinhart, and many others. Following their lead, I use the placidus house system. I am not a Hellenistic astrologer, and while I am familiar with some techniques and the whole sign system, I mostly do not utilize these in my readings. I am deepening my education through my teacher Britten LaRue’s Emergence Astrology course, and much self study of the above scholars.
